Help Vladislav Krasnov Get Out of Detention

Help Vladislav Krasnov Get Out of Detention

Thanks to your support, the impossible has already been achieved: in the final hours before departure, Vlad Krasnov’s deportation was stopped. This gave him a second chance to remain in the United States and continue his fight for freedom and safety.

He is now in immigration detention in California. To secure his release, a new motion must be filed. $7,000 is needed to cover legal expenses.

Vlad has an autoimmune condition (vitiligo), and the stress and conditions of detention are worsening his health, increasing the risks. He has already exhausted all of his personal resources.

Any contribution makes a difference. If you are able to support him — please do so now.

Vlad’s personal statement

Hi, this is Vladislav Krasnov. I’m writing to you from an immigration detention center in California.

First of all, I want to say a huge thank you. Because you of you, I was able to raise funds for an attorney and file a motion to reopen my case. You quite literally saved my life.

My deportation was scheduled for March 8. I was already at the airport, in handcuffs, about to board the plane. At the last moment, the flight was canceled due to a technical issue, and those few hours gave my attorney, Wallie Mason, a chance to file another emergency motion, which was granted just before departure. That is why I am able to write this message to you now.

Honestly, it’s very hard to describe that feeling. When you are already standing in front of the plane, knowing you are being sent somewhere you face persecution, and suddenly everything stops at the last moment — it feels like a second chance at life. And I got that chance because of you.

Now I need help again. To avoid being placed back in immediate deportation proceedings and to protect my health, I need to file a motion for release from detention. For this, I need to raise $7,000 in legal expenses.

I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition — vitiligo. The stress and conditions of detention are worsening my health and increasing the risks. I have already exhausted all of my personal resources. Any contribution makes a difference.
